LONDON VOIDS
In “London Voids”, building façades in Clerkenwell, London Bridge, Spitalfields, Mayfair, Highgate, and Whitechapel, are captured without the presence of people, cars, and colour, challenging the viewers’ perception of the urban environment, time, and space.
These depictions emerge from the perforated material whose texture and background bring to the fore a new way of looking at London’s evanescent historical landmarks in the context of a rapidly changing metropolis.
